October Full Moon
A full moon represents the peak of energy in the lunar cycle. It's a time of culmination, clarity, and illumination. As the moon illuminates the night sky, it illuminates all of your truths, providing a time for you to reflect and acknowledge your progress. Acknowledge what no longer serves you. Acknowledge all that you have learned. Embrace all of this progress and growth. Use it moving forward.

The October Full Moon, named the Harvest Moon will reach it's peak on Monday October 6th at 9:47 pm mountain time. This moon is a special one in a few ways. Unlike other moons, the Harvest Full Moon is not tied to a calendar month. Most year it is in September, but about every 3 years it falls in October. It's the Full Moon closest to the Autumn Equinox. Called the harvest moon in honor of the annual harvest. A time when crops are gathered and communities prepare. Most moons rise about 50 minutes later each night, but the Harvest Moonrise is only rises about 20-30 minutes later. For a few nights in a row the Harvest Moon will light up the sky, providing more evening light for harvest.
It also happens the be the first of 3 supermoons that will occur in 2025. With it's proximity to earth and low rising on the horizon it will look bigger and brighter than any Moon yet this year. Shining light upon you and the land around you. A time to reflect on all the earth has provided this year. A reminder of the cyclical nature of life and the importance of embracing change as one season leads to another. A time to prep for a cycle of rest.
As the harvest moon appears in Aries, it's a great opportunity to reflect on what is holding you back and what has supported you a long the way. Think about the cycles in your life, which ones have been great, which ones could use some attention? Think about how can you step into the power you have and embrace your inner warrior as you get ready to move through spooky season.

Remember that depending on where Aries lands in your birth chart, each person will be affected by this Full Moons powerful lunation.
With all this being said, you do you. All I ask is that during this Full Moon you step outside, look up at it and remember all that you are and all that this wonderful world has to offer. You can shine as bright as that moon. Never forget.
