November Full Moon

A full moon represents the peak of energy in the lunar cycle.  It's a time of culmination, clarity, and illumination. As the moon illuminates the night sky, it illuminates all of your truths, providing time and space for you to reflect on the past and acknowledge your progress, acknowledge what no longer serves you, acknowledge all that you have learned. Embrace all of this progress and growth. Use it moving forward to be the best version of you.

The Beaver Moon is named for a time when beavers would prep for winter. A time for them to prepare to settle in for the cold winter months ahead. It symbolizes strong foundations, preparation, stability, patience and perseverance. The steady and stable energy of this moon helps you to manifest abundance, to settle in with who you are in this moment and support you in working toward those long-term goals you have.

What to do during the Beaver Full Moon:

  • Solidify Intentions- This moon is an ideal time to focus on grounding, stability, security and abundance. Take time to solidify the intentions you have, make a plan and take them into the end of this year. Let go of anything that no longer serves you, supports you or aligns with your goals and intentions. Save your energy to focus on your goals. To make them happen.

  • Declutter - Prepare your space, just like the beavers do. Donate items you no longer need. Create cozy, organized spaces in your home and work. Ask yourself, does this item serve me?

  • Connect with Nature - As you begin to settle in to the upcoming months, so does the world around you. Watch as it happens. Let your eyes see the morning sun. Notice the trees becoming more bare. Feel the drop in temperatures. Notice the quiet of the morning. Take a walk outside, maybe near water or forested areas to connect with the energies of the beaver and the earth. Look at all of the nature around you that is prepping for rest, resilient throughout winter and always ready to emerge again in the spring.

  • Write and Release - write down those habits, fears, actions, thoughts that do not serve you. Safely burn, bury or shred the paper to let go (please be safe with fire).

  • Financially- Take a look at your budget and make sure you are prepared through the end of the year. Begin to think about financial goals for the following year.

Journal Prompts for November Full Moon

  • What resources, both spiritual and emotional, do I need to gather to prepare for the coming lunar cycle?

  • What actions do I need to take to protect my energy and well-being? What conversations do I need to have, with both myself and maybe others?

  • What new intentions can I set for the upcoming lunar cycle?

  • Where do I need more stability in my life? How can I bring that balance in?

  • What recurring feelings have been coming up? Where are they coming from?

  • What brings my happiness? How can I cultivate more happiness in my life?

With all this being said, you do you. During this Full Moon, step outside look up at it and remember all that you are and all that this wonderful world has to offer. You can shine as bright as that moon.
